At Play Learn Explore Academy our mission is to provide a nurturing and stimulating environment where children can learn, grow, and thrive. Pre-K 4 / Kindergarten Prep Goals

  1. Language and Literacy: Building language fluency, expanding vocabulary, improving listening and speaking skills, and promoting early reading and writing abilities.
  2. Math Skills: Developing a solid foundation in number recognition, counting, basic addition and subtraction, shape recognition, and patterns.
  3. Social and Emotional Development: Encouraging empathy, cooperation, conflict resolution, and fostering positive relationships with peers and adults.
  4. Fine Motor Skills: Strengthening hand-eye coordination, writing skills, and small muscle control through activities like writing, cutting, and drawing.
  5. Gross Motor Skills: Enhancing physical abilities through activities like running, jumping, skipping, hopping, and balancing.
  6. Science and Exploration: Encouraging curiosity about the world through hands-on science experiments and exploration of the natural environment.
  7. Creative Arts: Fostering creativity through various art forms such as painting, drawing, sculpting, and dramatic play.
  8. Pre-Reading and Pre-Writing Skills: Preparing for reading by introducing phonics, sight words, and practicing writing more complex shapes and letters.
  9. Social Studies: Introducing concepts about community, geography, history, and different cultures.
